This book is a comprehensive history of the beetle as well as Volkswagons in general but the focus is mainly on the beetle. The text is accurate and is written by someone who really knows his stuff. The highlights of the book are the illustrations. They are absolutely first rate and beautifully printed.

Absolutely gorgeous in this large format /5(29). This is a very small book to cover the entire story of the VW Beetle. And so to expect this nicely written little book to be an authority on the subject is to miss what I think the purpose of the book is - to introduce readers to the story who can then followup with one or more of the many books that are out there that are authoritative and more thorough/5(20).
